The extensive wine collection, which has won the Grand Award by Wine Spectator since 1982, offers more than 650 selections, with a particular emphasis on Bordeaux, Burgundy and California boutique wines. Specialties Executive Chef Payne offers a personalised five- or seven-course tasting menu and a seven-course vegetarian menu. Chef Payne's menu also features one of Chicago’s finest cheese courses. Under his direction, the cheese cart includes an exquisite selection of regional American varieties, as well as an assortment of European imports.
The Greenhouse features a wide expanse of windows with a view of downtown Chicago. Light and airy, this is the perfect place for a cocktail, appetisers, light lunch or afternoon tea. A children's menu is also available. |
The exclusive Spa at The Carlton Club is an oasis of renewal. The indoor heated lap pool is 18 feet (5.5 metres) wide, 52 feet (16 metres) long and consists of four lanes. Children under 12 years of age may enjoy the Spa, and it's facilities during children's hours between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Saturday, Sunday and public holidays; and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. With the exception of children's hours, use of the pool is limited to guests over 12 years of age. Fitness facilities - The Carlton Club offers personalised training, pampering body treatments, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, a lap pool, fitness classes and a sundeck with views of the city and the lake. |
