Whatever your mood, the Montague has the perfect setting. By evening the Chef's Table is candlelit and intimate, at lunchtime bright and airy, at all times serving beautifully executed cuisine. The Blue Door Bistro's menu favours delicious food with an emphasis on "comfort" eating, and includes a selection of vegetarian dishes and salads.

The two conservatories provide the perfect setting for afternoon tea or a late night coffee: also overlooking the private gardens, the cosy Terrace Bar is the ideal place for a quiet drink, informal snack, apéritif, or evening cocktail whilst enjoying some subtle live music. The Montague offers a superb environment in which to meet friends or colleagues, enjoy summer barbecues or host a private party on the wood deck and savour a traditional Hog or Lamb spit roast. 

24 hour room service is available for all our guests, with something suitable for every moment of the day or night. All guests are also free to enjoy the well-equipped gym and sauna looking out onto the garden.

Accommodation at The Montague on the Gardens comprises 88 deluxe guest rooms and 11 luxurious suites located over four floors of a traditional London townhouse, with a range of room types including garden facing and dedicated smoking and non-smoking floors. We are also delighted to offer guests our newly created 'Bloomsbury Rooms', 42 individually decorated rooms featuring luxury fabrics, furnishings and features.  Five of these luxury rooms comprise the "Bloomsbury Set", the famous literary group of the 1920s and 30s, central to which was Virginia Woolf, and each follow a particular stylish theme reminiscent of the literary and artistic ideals of the time. Each of the rooms in the Bloomsbury wing offers a charming experience to our guests.

All rooms offer 24 hour room service, cable tv with movies on demand, deluxe toiletries, modem lines, voicemail, and evening turndown service among the many facilities provided as standard: Business Ready rooms add specially designed working environment and additional business services such as secretarial support if required. For guests with special needs, an induction loop is available on request from reception.

The individually decorated luxury Suites, many of them split level with jacuzzi bath and overlooking the garden,  provide elegant fabrics, distinctive furnishings and stunning ornaments.
