If you are looking for a luxurious French ski chalet in Val disere France, Le Chardon Mountain Lodges can offer a range of catered chalets all in the private area of La Legettaz.

Our accommodation ranges in size from the Mistral which caters for 8 people up to our largest chalet, Le Chardon, which is ideal for parties of up to 20 people. This makes us an ideal host for group and family ski holidays as well as corporate ski breaks. Each chalet is fully catered and comes with a range of services to ensure your skiing trip is restful, relaxed and enjoyable.

As a small company we take care of our guests and go out of our way to help you organise your skiing holiday - we understand that the notion of "luxury" is not only exhibited within the design, style and amenities of our ski chalets; it is in the peace of mind that we deliver to our guests, be it in the gastronomic food and fine wines we serve or the ease of our in-chalet ski rental service, the pre-arranged lift pass delivered to you with your first breakfast or your evening soak in the chalet hot tub to relieve those tired legs.

Luxury Ski Chalet ¨Le Chardon¨ - Sleeps 20

Le Chardon is undoubtedly one of the most desirable and exclusive ski chalets in Val d'Isere. Resting elegantly on the side of the Solaise Mountain, it is a haven for keen skiers of all abilities. Each of its ten en-suite bedrooms has floor to ceiling windows offering uninterrupted views of the Manchet Valley and Vanoise National Park.

With two separate living areas, large TV room, study and dining room Le Chardon is the ideal location for larger groups and corporate parties to soak up the magical atmosphere. The large private terrace is a fantastic place to hold fabulous barbecues while, in the right conditions, drinks are served from a hand crafted snow bar. A perfect way to mix business with pleasure.

After an active day on the slopes, choose to relax in one of the two private hot tubs with a glass of champagne or for the more energetic a splash around in the 18ft swim spa. Alternatively you may choose to indulge in a full body massage from one of our highly trained physiotherapists or to curl up in front of the open log fire with a good book. All this before you enjoy a five course culinary experience from our acclaimed head chef, served in the newly extended dining room overlooking the Manchet Valley.

Luxury Ski Chalet ¨Mistral¨ - Sleeps 14

The entrance to Chalet Mistral, with its quirky beams and high ceilings is demonstrative of the comfortable and airy ambiance that is prevalent throughout. The relaxing living room is the epitome of cosy warmth, with a large open log fire and floor to ceiling windows framing the spectacular view of the Manchet Valley and beyond.

Each of the seven bedrooms has character and individuality, all having access to either a sunny south facing terrace, mountain view or a balcony. Every bedroom has its own luxurious ensuite that has been designed with a combination of Savoyard wood and Italian marble to create a sense of tranquillity and serenity. For kids there are endless nooks and crannies in which to play hide and seek, a TV room with sofas, games, satellite TV and a DVD player, and acres of outside space for snowball fights and sledging.

What better way to relax after a day on the slopes than with a glass of champagne in the bubbling hot tub, while watching the sun sink behind the Roche de Charvet. Alternatively choose to indulge in a soothing massage by one of the highly trained physiotherapists in the chalets private massage room. Complete your day in the new dining room of Chalet Mistral with a five course menu of culinary delights tailored to your taste by your very own private chef.

Luxury Ski Chalet ¨Lafitenia¨ - Sleeps 12

Situated in a private enclave above Val d'Isere Lafitenia is a six bedroom chalet boasting breathtaking uninterrupted views down the Manchet Valley. Combining luxury and comfort with traditional touches and warm furnishings, the chalet is a cosy haven ideal for families.

All 6 bedrooms have newly renovated ensuite bath or shower rooms, and the majority, access to the private terrace or balcony. The large south facing picture windows give all rooms a light and airy feel, which complements the sumptuous fabrics and comfy homeliness that is characteristic of this chalet.

After an active day on the slopes of the Espace Killy you can either ski back or be collected by your private chauffeur and driven back for a delicious afternoon tea. Choose to relax in one of the two private hot tubs with a glass of champagne or treat yourself to a full body massage organised by your private concierge. Alternatively you may choose to curl up in front of the open log fire before you enjoy a five course culinary experience from your very own gourmet chef.

Luxury Ski Chalet ¨Le Kilimanjaro ¨ - Sleeps 8

On entrance into the beautiful Kilimanjaro you are drawn into an exquisite winter retreat on which the emphasis is luxurious comfort and sumptuous homeliness. Travetino marble steps take you up from the ski fitting room to the main enterance of the chalet, elegantly finished with warm Italian tiles and 200 year old reclaimed wood.

The private terrace and hot tub are accessed from the main hall, as well as from all three bedrooms on this floor. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a glass of champagne after a day on the slopes of the Espace Killy before a tantalising five course dinner is prepared by your very own gourmet chef.

Each bedroom has an ensuite bath / shower room, and twin or king size double bed. The warmth of the wood is pervasive throughout each room, and the large south facing windows bathe each room in warmth and light.

The second floor is dominated by a huge, open plan living area, its grandeur encapsulated by the high vaulted ceiling and solid beams. Yet for all its size it loses nothing of the warmth and homeliness created by deep sofas, a roaring fire and soft textured furnishings. To the right of this fabulous room is the 4th double bedroom and ensuite shower room.

With extraordinary views over the valley, breath-taking surroundings and an understated elegance pervasive throughout the chalet you would be hard pushed to find a more luxurious Alpine chalet.
