serves authentic Portuguese cuisine including the famous local
seafood and fish dishes and also the chicken `piri-piri` which
is an Algarve speciality. Light snacks can be taken in the cool
of the courtyard or on the terrace surrounding the pool, There
is also a lounge overlooking the village square and a terrace
bar.
The swimming pool is heated for the benefit of winter visitors.

The are many golf courses within a short car drive with the nearest
being the 18 hole Salgados course and the courses at Vale de
Gramancho and Vale de Pinta giving 27 holes at Carvoeiro Golf
Club.
