It all started with an idea to create a unique, timeless, first-class
hotel that would combine the best of Scandinavian architecture,
design and cuisine to create a source of inspiration for our guests.
The well-known Swedish architect Gert Wingårdh put the
idea down on paper, and the interior was provided by design icons
such as Arne Jacobsen, Bruno Mathsson and Alvar Aalto. Marcus Samuelsson
of New York’s Aquavit restaurant contributed the culinary
delights, and these unique creative forces have all joined forces
to pay tribute to the best in Scandinavian culture.

The hotel’s 558 rooms feature interior design distinguished
by its clean lines and timeless appearance, with comfortable beds,
carefully planned tables and desks, a mini-bar and a flat-screen
television. Each floor is dedicated to a classic Scandinavian designer,
reflected in the interiors of the rooms. Want to get to know Arne
Jacobsen’s classic The Egg and The Swan? Or are you more
into Bruno Mathsson’s Jetson Chair? The choice is yours!
There are different categories of rooms – ranging
from Moderate and Standard to Superior and Deluxe. And there
are eight junior suites offering a view of the park, an intriguing
design, and elegant interiors.
